Missoula County Public Schools (MCPS)

Missoula County Public Schools is committed  to providing an education system that ensures every student  achieves and graduates – regardless of his/her circumstances  and abilities. The District is in the process of implementing a 21st Century Schools Initiative that is transforming its 17 schools into vibrant learning communities that provide more than 8,400 students with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in the 21st Century. With an innovative and comprehensive curriculum  that includes project-based learning, International Baccalaureate, dual-credit (high school/college credit) classes, Advanced Placement  classes, extensive foreign language classes
(including Arabic and Mandarin Chinese) and music programs (band, choir and orchestra), the District is positioned to support  the needs of all students.

The District is also working to integrate technology throughout the curricula, and is a participant in the Montana Digital Academy, which provides online coursework for Montana high school students. Parents  who need to identify which school their child should attend  can also access attendance boundary  maps online or stop by the District’s Office at 215 South Sixth West.
