Leadership Missoula and the Business Development Academy
Looking to improve your business and leadership skills? The Missoula Chamber of Commerce has options for your personal and professional growth.
If you’re looking to create a change in your business with a low time commitment, consider the Business Development Academy of Missoula (BDAM). This group meets once a month for 1.5 hours for 8 months, with a longer retreat at the beginning and end of the class. Learn about creating effective processes, managing time, team building, communicating well, creating fans and a number of other topics. Business Development Academy students will have the opportunity to utilize the strategies they learn and report results back to their class. Use the Business Academy to create a Strategic Plan for your business or implement meaningful change in your organization.
If you’re willing to make a larger commitment to personal, professional and community improvement, think about applying for Leadership Missoula (LM). Leadership Missoula is in it’s 30th year of educating Missoulians about their city, their personality type and how to develop skills as a citizen, a professional and a person. The class requires a commitment of one day per month for 8 months, with a two-day retreat at the beginning and end of the class. Learn about the unique challenges that face Missoula, with sessions covering Natural Resources, Arts & Culture, Business & Economy, Government and Politics, Health and Human Services and Education. A variety of speakers, presentations and leadership exercises are offered to enhance interpersonal skills, professional abilities and personal knowledge. The Missoula Chamber of Commerce believes that continuing education is imperative to a healthy business community and we invite you contact us if you’re ready to take your skills to the next level.
