Garden City Ballet is a community-focused organization committed to inspiring Missoula dancers and sharing quality performances with Western Montana. They are home to outstanding students and their families as well as the best professional teachers, choreographers and guest artists from across the region and country. Their largest production is the annual Nutcracker that includes over 100 local dancers of all ages.

Headwaters Dance Company
Headwaters Dance Company was founded in 2004 and is a professional contemporary dance company that showcases smart, theatrically oriented, contemporary works created by choreographers from all over the country. Headwaters is the only professional touring, contemporary dance company in Montana.

MCT, Inc. (Missoula Children’s Theatre and MCT Community Theatre)
The Missoula Children’s Theatre offers day camps and performing arts classes for school-aged children throughout the year. In addition, they operate Next Step Prep, a six-week accredited performing arts program held in Missoula, and a two-week performing arts camp on the shores of Flathead Lake each summer. MCT Community Theatre produces four musicals and a drama or comedy each season, as well as an opera every other year. All local productions are held at MCT Center for the Performing Arts at 200 North Adams Street. The theatre, lobby, and meeting rooms are also available to rent year-round. Montana Lyric Opera
Montana Lyric Opera was established in 2007. They work to introduce professional opera to Western Montana as a relevant and comprehensive art form, through professional productions, educational youth productions, outreach to the schools and community and collaboration with local artists and arts organizations. Their schedule includes a Summer Opera Festival along with several performances.

The Montana Repertory Theater
The Rep is the professional theater company in residence at the University of Montana. It produces one or two main shows a year, which tour the U.S. as well as a mini-shows and workshops as part of an educational outreach program. Montana Rep delivers a theatrical experience in its entirety, bringing with it everything from lighting to sound design. Completely self-contained, the Rep offers presenters large and small––in facilities ranging from new performing arts centers to high school gyms––the opportunity to enjoy first-class theatre.

Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre
Since 1998, Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre has provided audience members of all ages with a unique dance experience.
